One Georgie, Two Georgie, Gold Georgie…Finalists Announced for Dr. Seuss Inspired 33rd Annual Georgie Awards

BURNABY, BC (January 20, 2025) – The Canadian Home Builders’ Association of British Columbia (CHBA BC) invites you to a night that’s grand, where craftsmanship and excellence go hand in hand. Mark your calendars for Saturday, March Twenty-Two, as we transform the Hyatt Regency into some Dr. Seuss-inspired fun for you. Oh, the places you’ll go, the people you’ll see, when we honour B.C.’s best homes at the 2025 Georgies!

Now in its 33rd year, the 2025 Georgie Awards will feature 53 categories grouped in six focus areas: Residential Construction – New; Residential Construction – Renovation; Interior Design, Merchandising and Landscaping; Sales and Marketing; Special Achievement Awards; and the Grand Georgie Awards.

“The past year has tested our industry with unprecedented challenges, such as economic uncertainty, labour shortages, high interest rates, and evolving government regulations,” said Neil Moody, CEO, CHBA BC. “Despite these challenges, this year’s Georgie Awards finalists have continued to thrive. They have inspired our judging panel with their determination and dedication to building vibrant communities across B.C.”

To be eligible for a Georgie Award, the company must be a member, and the submitted project must have been built, renovated, developed, created, and marketed from January 1, 2023 – October 31, 2024. The finalists and winners are selected by a judging panel of out-of-province industry professionals and the results are verified by an independent accounting firm, Renaissance Group CPA Ltd.
