This course is designed to equip you with an understanding of the fundamental principles required for building high-quality, energy- and resource-efficient housing.

Whether you are seeking initial residential builder licensing or want to become a licensed R-2000* builder, this course will help you meet your goals. This is also the suggested course for participating in the EnerGuide* and ENERGYSTAR® for New Homes program. COURSE FORMAT

  • Review all course materials in full.
  • Complete mandatory online chapter quiz questions.
  • Attend a 2 day online webinar, which is an instructor-led high level review of course materials.
  • Write an online proctored exam (an 80% passing mark on the final exam is required to successfully complete the course).
