CHBA BC attends national meetings in Ottawa

CHBA BC was well represented at the recent CHBA National Fall Meetings held in Ottawa, Oct. 27-29. President Simon Howse, VP Gordon Bliss, CEO Neil Moody together with ten committee chairs and representatives from BC, joined association presidents, committee members and executive officers from across Canada to engage in discussions, receive updates and review initiatives that help drive the association and the residential construction industry throughout the country. An economic briefing by Peter Norman, Chief Economist of the Altus Group, provided an in-depth analysis of trends that affect the housing market and how a remarkable demographic trend is emerging and how it will drive new housing stock requirements.
