CHBA BC sends letter to Premier Clark regarding new property transfer tax for foreign buyers

In late July, the Province of British Columbia announced a new tax on foreign buyers who purchase property in Metro Vancouver. CEO Neil Moody signed a letter along with three construction industry association representatives expressing their collective concerns that this tax would unfairly penalize those who had already signed contracts to purchase.
