Finalists Announced for 22nd Georgie Awards®

BURNABY, B.C. (October 31, 2013) - The Canadian Home Builders' Association of British Columbia (CHBA BC) is pleased to announce this year's Georgie Awards® finalists, whose new home and renovation projects highlight just some of the quality, skill, professionalism and excellence in B.C.'s residential construction industry.
Presented by the Canadian Home Builders' Association of British Columbia and BC Homes, the Georgie Awards® showcase the best of B.C.'s residential construction industry, whether home builder, renovator, marketer, or otherwise involved in the industry. Now celebrating their 22nd year, the Georgie Awards® are nationally known for recognizing and rewarding excellence and innovation in British Columbia's home building and renovation community.
"The level of excellence and innovative designs in building and renovation by CHBA members in British Columbia is reflected in the outstanding submissions received and reviewed by our professional panel of judges. We are looking forward to an exciting evening on February 1, when the winners will be announced." said Neil Moody, CEO of the association.
The awards cover projects and products built, renovated, developed, created and/or marketed for the period of January 1, 2012 to July 31, 2013. An esteemed judging panel of industry professionals from outside B.C. recently judged all Georgie Awards® entries in an intense and exhaustive three day process.
Finalists for Customer Choice powered by Avid® Georgie Awards®, Single Family Production Home Builder of the Year and Multi-Family Home Builder of the Year will be announced in January 2014.
Finalists and winners will be celebrated at a black-tie awards gala with featured guests and entertainment on February 1, 2014 at the Vancouver Convention Centre West.
