Advocacy
The government relations activity plays an important role in the success of the Canadian Home Builders’ Association of BC and the residential construction industry. Together with our affiliated local associations and CHBA National body in Ottawa, we are strongly positioned to bring industry related concerns to the government on behalf of all members at the local, provincial and national levels.
Advocacy Update
In coordination with CHBA BC’s Government Relations Committee, we are tracking all advocacy and government relations activities and seek to report on these efforts via the Advocacy Update.
Legislature Day
For the past two Novembers, delegates from all 8 of CHBA BC’s local associations came together for our Legislature Day in Victoria. This event was all about demonstrating to MLAs the industry expertise our members can provide on housing policy.
